Lamb & Rice Stew

Ingredients

3 lbs of lamb (cut up)
2 Large Onions
1 Carrot (shredded)
2 packets of Lipton Onion Mix
2 cups of basmati rice
3 tsp of olive oil
1 whole garlic

Directions

In a heavy deep skillet dish heat olive oil. Saute onion and carrots until golden. Add lamb and let the meat brown for few minutes. Add 2 cups of rice. Add 4 cups of hot water and two packets of Lipton Onion Mix. Let the water boil, add salt to taste. Place a large garlic (whole) in the middle of the skillet. Close tightly and place in the pre-heated over at 350 for one hour
