Say Good-Bye To Tired Computer Eyes

Whether it’s our job that forces us sit in front of the computer, or simply the love to connect with others for hours at a time, starring at a screen can take a toll on our body. If you suffer from poor vision, dry eyes, and even headaches, back pain, and more, these tips are for you.

1.Stay Hydrated- Water quenches your thirst, allows you to have more energy, stay more alert, enhances your body’s features, and more.

2.Take Breaks- Every hour or so, get off of that chair, stretch, and look at a different scene so that you do not start to have blurred vision from staring at one thing for too long.

3.Body Movements- While you are sitting at your chair, periodically do head rotations to relax your upper body. Breathe in and out to relieve your body from stress and strain.

4.Eye Rolls- Take your eyes off of the screen, take a deep breathe, and slowly roll your eyes up north, then to the left, right, down south, and back up. This will give your eyes a break from the computer screen.

5.Head Rolls- Like eyes rolls slowly rotate your head in clockwise and counterclockwise movements for one to two minutes.

If your vision is becoming a bit blurry, look into getting computer glasses, solely for when you are looking at your screen. These can be cute and fashionable so don’t be ashamed or upset about it, tons of people wear reading and computer glasses!

Note: This is not medical advice, but a friendly reminder to take care of yourself, because you are worth it.
