I am leaving you because I love you. We have such a beautiful home, a thriving business and wonderful friends; yet that foundation can not support the crushing weight of our half truths, blatant lies and repeated deceit.

I am leaving you because I love you. We have both learned so much from each other and risked our hearts to love one another; yet I have never hurt someone so much as I have hurt you and I have never felt so much pain from my lover.

I am leaving you because I love you. Our life together has been spectacular and there may never be another relationship, for either of us, that can equal ours; yet I can not love you like you need me to and I’ve decided to love myself the way I need to be loved.

I am leaving you because I love you.
