The picture was taken at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. My son Steven had an exhibit there which took up an entire room. My son Matt and son Solomon attended as did my son Michael who played his guitar there while videos of Monument Valley played in the back http://www.heard.org/NETCOMMUNITY/Page.aspx?pid=183&srcid=-2

We all huddled together for a picture. My son Matt is a musician too and plays in a group called Sonorous in Phoenix. His wife Lesli is an artist and they both present their artwork in a gallery “The Longhouse” where they live.

Michael plays guitar and writes his own music. He has his own gallery where he lives. He actually lives next door to Matt and Lesli and see each other all the time. When I visited them at Christmas it was funny to see a sign painted on Michael’s window saying, “I Love You Matt“. At Matt’s house he had the same message but only to Michael.

My youngest son Daniel lives with me in Vanderwagen, NM and we daily encounter three long horned cows that our landlord owns. I drive daily into Gallup to work, some 50 miles round trip.

I am very proud of my son’s and their contributions to their community and to the family as a whole. I probably will move to Phoenix one day as I am getting older and would love to be closer to my grandson.
