Ok so officially I am sick of the fires . We are having another couple out here in Southern California and it is horrible . I feel so sad for the people that lost everything they had to fire . Some of the people on the news are so strong , one couple lost everything and they had and were so happy to be alive . The reporter keep trying to get them to be sad and they would not have any part of it . What strong spirits they have .
We have been lucky here in chatsworth and have had to evacuate only once . And the fire did not get to our house it was a couple blocks away but we made it .
All the people who are affected by the fires and the firefighters are in my thoughts and prayers tonight .

Every time Im In Los Angeles there is a fire, and I was there when the Studio burned and malibu was on fire and its just that its sooo dry there, its like desert climate.. I rarely rains in Southern California and therefore, ripe for fires.
I guess all areas has its weaknesses, here on the coast its Hurricanes, IKE was devestating.
California its Earthquakes and Fires.
We still have homeless here, from Ike.
I pray for the victims in California and here along the coast.

I posted four pictures that I took from my backyard looking at the Corona/Yorba Linda fires. Five years ago we were experiencing the same type of fires… warm weather, wind blowing.. crazy!
Today is history, tomorrow's a mystery, live the gift of the moment - that's why it's called the Present!!
For the last two years we have had mandatory evacuations. This year the wind kept the flames and smoke to the north of us-not by much. Watching the devastation on TV is heartbreaking!

Even in Chatsworth you have your fair share of fires during these Santa Ana wind conditions. I’m a southern California native, grew up in Orange County. When I see the fires year after year, same situation, different town, it just hurts my heart. I love California, it will always be my home.
I pray for the strong people dealing with this right now.
