After 30 years of marriage, I reluctantly divorced my first soul mate, a man I once absolutely adored, and moved across the country to start a new life. I was not looking for another relationship as I loved being single.

Imagine my surprise when I realized that one of my male golfing buddies was interested in me! As I slowly learned to reopen my heart and let love in again, I responded to this gentle man’s love and allowed myself to trust again. Could I have met ANOTHER soul mate?

I am doing this marriage (yes, we married on Kauai barefoot on the beach), completely differently. I have learned the hard lessons of the University of The Broken Hearted and I am enjoying a relationship that looks different and feels different than I thought love would be. I practice love enhancing communication techniques every day and we are both committed to keeping our sizzle from fizzling!

Ladies….IF I CAN DO THIS, YOU CAN TOO!! Unlearning the unhealthy patterns I thought were permanently entrenched in my being and walking out true love is more fun and light hearted than I ever imagined!!
