About me

  • I am ME!—I think that is hard for us women to say.
  • I am a wife of Dennis for 24 years—(oh that sounds old!), and mom of two awesome boys, age 16 and 12.
  • I am a daughter, sister, friend of many, most of all, I’m a daughter of the Lord.

I had my mid-life crisis after 40 (41 actually). I went on a journey of self-discovery: reading books, “interviewing” anyone who’d talk to me, praying, thinking and taking time to just breathe, meditate….and determined that life is meant to be lived fully, jump in with both feet, take chances, and remember to laugh every day!

I wanted to inspire others to live passionately, so I create Passionate for Life Magazine to inspire others to live passionate lives. Come check us out at:

    • Hello Beauty Queen! How are you today? I was growing my hair out, until my hair stylist cut too much off! LOL! A few weeks ago, I went to get a trim and just a few layers. How come hair stylists always cut too much off and never listen????
      Although, I am a Licensed Cosmetologist, I try to never cut too much and I try to always listen to what clients want. Hair was never my passion so I do not do much hair cutting anymore, other than my family.

      Hey, are you on Facebook? It is such a cool place with the neatest things to do on there and I have had fun sending StarBucks drinks, video’s, cupcakes and scriptures to friends!

      I’m wondering if you‘re still interested in having a group keep track of their fitness progress. (see how I’m avoiding the word accountability?) I’m open to checking in with a group and providing progress reports. Let’s just say I’m thinking of having a little humble pie, zero calories, zero fat!     • Dana, I just realized you were up near the fires in Northern Cal. I’m glad you were not too far in the midst of it. My husband and I have a home in Paradise/Magalia and we were so fortunate the fire didn’t reach our place! We felt helpless here just watching the local Chico news online. We‘re planning to go out there in October to see how everything came out.

      Thank you for the friend request. I just went to your e-magazine. Wow! It’s great! I love it. I’m going to visit more indepth. Congratulations on it.

      I love making chocolate. I have some photos on my profile of the passion fruit hearts and the cabernet truffles. I’m known for my use of a confectioner’s luster dust to give the truffles a jewel like shine. I also like making the molded type instead of the round ones because I have more flexibility in the fillings – they can be creamier with molded truffles.

      Thanks again for the friend request. Isn’t this a great site? I’m so happy I found it. Lots of nice women to interract with, be inspired by, laugh with. Yana’s brilliant!

      Thanks for the friend request . I am online so much today. My house is being painted. I can go any place but the living room. It is too funny. I can’t wait until it is done. I like to paint, but ceiling is 17 feet tall. I guess you could say, I am not in the mood. My Mom is moving in with us in two weeks . She is very ill. I don’t want to put her into a home. I am working from home . It has been so much work trying to get the house ready for her. She wants french doors put in her room. I really should of went to construction school. Hope your day is going well.

      Thank you for your response to my profile; standing with me independantly as a strong and confident women. Besides being a woman who first and foremost is a mother to my three wonderful sons, I am also blessed with a great career. One of the many passions in my life that in the last eight months I have been honing is my writing of erotica – short stories. I have circulated them amongst male online friend and acquaintances and posted them on a website for amateur writers, Ravage Me like the Wind is posted on Divinecaroline.com. I would love to share my stories here and receive comments from the “divas”—we all are a diva in our own right. In due time I will. Sharing my writing with others makes the process of writing them even that much more enjoyable.
