48 years old. 2 grown children living on their own. No grandchildren. Married, photographer husband. I am in Commercial Banking, started to study journalism in younger years, fell into banking. Plan on doing some free-lance writing as a  2nd retirement career.       You asked about my new career. I am a registered technologist and I was an MRI tech for 6 years. I am now doing applications with a medical device company. It has been 1 year yesterday that I started with them.

    • Yes, I live in the US! Of course, every time I visit the U.K. I wish I lived there. I live in Idaho where the winters are very cold and snowy. Thank you for accepting my invite. I am trying to figure out right now how to “navigate” my profile, so keep checking.

    LOVE movies. Must read in bed to fall asleep. Like to go to gym, walk, bike, trying to learn to become a runner (but knee and foot may not cooperate!). Learning to watercolor. Avid reader and magazine-aholic. I would like a fitness buddy who is more advanced than I am. I am the health ambassador for our corporate wellness program (volunteer). This keeps me on the straight and narrow, after years of having a formerly stressful job and unhealthy lifestyle.

  • Interests

    Did some yoga last fall. I would like to do more. Would like to try spinning, but am intimidated. Interested in healthy cooking (and sometimes not so healthy). Love art, travel. Have a secret desire to attempt ballroom dancing. Interested in women who are over 40 and talk about a variety of issues. Like gardening and going to the farmer’s market for fresh vegetables..yum!
