About me

Hello ! I am Marie, my friends and family have known me as Ree for my entire life, so please, call me Ree. I am 44 years old,an extremely faithful,spiritual Catholic Christian, happily married and have been with my hubby for over 24 years. We are very much in love, enjoy each others company and are very good friends. He is the love of my life! We have 5 wonderful, unique,healthy children , ages 13 – 22, 3 boys and 2 girls. We live in Southern New Jersey and own and operate a plumbing and heating business. I am a very busy person, besides helping run our family business, i am a full time Real Estate Agent and  love helping people find and buy a home or sell their old one and move on to a new beginning.  I am also the Philadelphia Pa. coordinator for a wonderful childrens program called Project Children ( projectchildren.org, more about that in my interest section). I am looking forward to learning more about all of you. I feel Blessed to be able to see God’s beauty in the simplest of things every day and I give thanks for these things every day. I smell my flowers every day,I look to he birds in the sky every day and, especially in Autumn I gaze in wonder at the gifts of color all around us. God’s palette is amazing.  I find so much happiness is seeing my kids smiles. I am completely empathetic, i can feel peoples pain and happiness. Empathy is an powerful gift and i feel Blessed to have it. I strive to be a better mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and Christian constantly. As tough as things can get sometimes, I know i am Blessed and try to always remember that.

  • Favorite Activities

    Ok..here goes, as i said…I am the coordinator for Project Children. It is an organization that brings children from the flashpoint areas of Northern Ireland to the United States for 4 weeks each summer during the particularly turbulent times of the summer. I have been a host mother for the last 9 summers and the coordinator for the last 5…going on my 6th year. I raise awareness and funds and find host families and have been extremely Blessed to have found great success in all the endeavors of this venture. I have met some Wonderful children and most of them keep in touch and stay away from the violence there. I am also very involved with my son Dannys football team, i am the team mother for the High School JV and Varsity squads. We have a wonderful parents organization. Our High School team has been the State Champions for 4 out of the last 5 years. I got to become apart of this  team when my oldest son played and followed my middle son into it and my youngest son will become part of this amazing organization next year. I love football! Go EAGLES!!!

    Favorite Authors are..Anne Rice, Nora Roberts, Leon Uris, Mark Twain and Nicholas Sparks.  

     The Bible is my favorite book.

  • Favorite Music


    I love all types of music but am very partial to Old Heavy Metal like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. But i am very very versatile…i love Irish rebel music, Barbra Streisand, 70’s and 80’s classic rock, Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite and i believe the Beatles are the greatest band of all time. I love Nirvana, The Offspring,The Foo Fighters I also love Mummers music and if you are not from the Philadelphia area you will not understand this….it is the only place in the world it is found.


  • Interests

    I am a strong believer in prayer and the power of the Rosary. I am a Christian with unshakable faith.  I am  of 100% Irish descent. All 4 of my grandparents came from Northern Ireland…It is with great pride that i declare my Irish ancestry and will keep trying to change the face of Northern Ireland…One child at a time!
    I love sunsets, sunrises, reading, writing, poetry, the ocean , Autumn, The Novermber Sky and cooking!

    There is Something About The November Sky It arrives full of fall and leads winters cry, The autumnal backdrop…Robust, Full of pride as the foliage is turning; few trees yet to cry.. their leaves of Burnt Orange, Yellow and Gold accenting the Browns, rusty yet bold. The leaves, some maroon, cast an invite to play against billowing clouds, all shades of gray. There’s Something About The November Sky rainbows in sunsets, cotton clouds reaching high, their pinks and the blues in contrast so bold against a horizon on fire with gold. There’s Something About The November Sky In all of it’s beauty brings tears to my eye for a time long past to all but me a time in my childhood…naive and free In memory long past so crisp, so clear In Novermbers Sky long ago And in Memory right here!
