Hi Kendal! Nice to meet you. Thanks for being my “friend” :) I’m from California, have five kids, four grand children (all boys), and am married to my best friend! I love the beach and digital photography, however, I’m disabled at the moment and don’t get out as often as I’d like. I also love to garden, read, write and decorate my home. I hang out with my youngest Daughter (9) a lot, and am having a good summer with the family. My 15 year old son just got back from a Missions trip to Belize and is a joy to know! Such an awesome kid :) My others are out of the home, with families of their own. How about you? What are you doing this summer? Chat soon….Mayra

Thanks for the friend request. I’m not a superwoman. Its hard raising 3 kids and keeping a marriage alive. My kids are Kristen 17, Samantha 14 and Trey is 11. I’m fixing to take my youngest daughter up to the track to practice on the hurdles. I don’t like the hurdles and she has decided her last meet she is going to do them.

Kendal,
where do you live? Are you going to do the beach during the day? Another thing to check out-is the beach you‘re thinking of open in the evenings?
If you plan to light a fire pit-will it be too windy?
Otherwise-bring a warm sleeping bag and huddle inside that! Plus if you have one of those little pop-up tents, that could help keep snoopy people and some of the cold out as well!
