About me

My name is Angela and I’m living my fabulous 40’s!  I don’t have any children, although when I was married we tried for many many years but it never happened.  Now I’ve had a hysterectomy and I’ll never know what it would be like to be a mommy. I’ve come to accept it as I get older but sometimes it’s still hard to think about.

When I first came onto Fabulous 40 and beyond, I lived in California with my boyfriend and was considering moving back to Michigan.  Well.. I made the move!  I’m very happy to be back in my hometown close to my family whom I missed terribly.  I’m still going through a little heartbreak about the parting from the boyfriend and I also left my Pug puppy, Winston with him. Winston was closer to him and I didn’t want to pull them apart. I have family and friends here to comfort me and Winston is there to help him through the split up.  I know it was best for both of us.

I'm thrilled to be back where my business started and thrived!  I've been a Pure Romance consultant for over 7 years now and love what I do.  It's a company that specializes in romance enhancement through in home parties.  I have a website if you are curious about the products.     I enjoy traveling and reading and curling up with a hot cup of coffee on rainy or chilly days.  Now that I’m back home, I look forward to getting together with my gal pals to chit chat or over lunch.  I’m getting ready to start back at meditation and bellydancing.  I’ve missed it. There’s a picture in my album of me a few years ago in my bellydance garb.

    I recently just started another book, Brother Odd.  It’s been out for a little while, but I never got around to picking it up.  It was in the bargin bin, so I grabbed it.  It’s the 3rd of a series (Odd Thomas – 1st, Forever Odd – 2nd) There are some great Bargin Books over at Barnes and Noble!

    I bought a couple more books so after I’m done with Brother Odd I have my choice of: Candance Bushnell’s new book, “One Fifth Ave” (She’s the author of Sex and the City as well as Lipstick Jungle) and I also picked up “The Pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follet.  That should keep me busy for a while :)

    I listen to almost everything.  My favorite is smooth jazz. I also enjoy pop, hip hop, classical and new age.




  • Interests

    I have lots of interest!
    Reading, writing, gardening, cooking, and traveling to name a few. I’ve taken some incredible trips (most were courtesy of Pure Romance – what could be better than an all expense paid trip).  My most recent trip was to Puerto Vallarta. Prior to that St. Maarten and St. Barts.  All were beautiful places I hope to visit again.

    My dream trip would be around Italy and Greece.  I’ve always wanted to go.  Rome, Milan, and Athens.. Oh My!
