    • hi renascent i read the article you wrote about “do you mommy your husband” and you were married to him for 18 years and were best friends, and still care for him. I thought it was touching, i hope you are well and find another best friend. Its a shame that relationships like that can come to an end.
      I have a similar situation where we were good friends, adn i still care about his well being , his dreams etc although he had become a heavy drinker which destroyed our relationship.
      His new “wife” is 17 years younger than me and she thinks that she can take my place., well that amuses me. You know we spent 13 years together, thats not a small number.
      You really get to know someone in that time, and , well, i can relate.
      I have a new man in my life, whos 20 yrs younger than me ( as my ex was 13 years younger ) and he is my new best friend.
