I know, I know – I’m not supposed to do this.
I was working out, dieting well, and lost 12 pounds. I was also weighing myself every day.
Little by little, some things began to slip. I didn’t work out as much and I wasn’t a good on my diet as I had been.
Then I stopped weighing myself.
I got back on the scale for the first time today, and when I saw the weight and realized how much I’ve let things slip. Ugh!
Everyone says you aren’t supposed to be weigh yourself every day, it demotivates you. But I think I am the opposite. It’s the scale that keeps me going forward. It drives me right into action.
I’m going to start once again weighing myself everyday.
I also get caught in the trap of weighing myself everyday. My philosophy, however, is to not focus on the number on the scale but instead on how your clothes feel. Did you know that a pound of fat is the size of a large grapefruit and a pound of muscle is the size of a small tangerine?
If I can show you a way to lose fat and maintain your lean muscle, would you be interested? Please check out my profile to learn more.
Cheers!
