by Irene Nemirovsky.
I’m just about to start this, and was wondering if anyone had read it yet. I would love to hear your reviews if you had.
Thanks.
Annie
I am almost finished with this. It is a remarkable story – and the fact that it was written as a non-fiction is amazing. I was told you HAVE to read the afterward at the end of the book.
Now you are motivating me more!

I’m about half way through. At first it was a little hard to keep track of the different people, but it is coming together.
It’s an amazing account of what happens to people during a war. It levels the playing field for everyone. People become totally different than they were before. It really puts everything in our lives into perspective – what’s really important and what’s not.
It’s a remarkable story. Now I can’t put it down.

The world was robbed of a great author when Irene Nemirovsky was murdered in Auschewitz in 1942. This was a phenomenal book – left unfinished.
