It’s 46 degrees, drizzling, and pretty much cold for this area. Ly and I head out for school with jackets, and I’m still cold walking back to the car. On the way back I pass a woman who is carrying a baby; she’s wearing a coat, her 3 year old is wearing a coat and hat. And the baby? Dressed in a light sleeper. Just the sleeper, no coat, blanket, or hat to cover that little bald head.
If you don’t realize that your baby needs to be dressed as warm as you do then you shouldn’t have kids.
Man, I swear I’ve been sick for two months now. Just when I start feeling better, bam, I’m hit again. Then the weirdest things is I crave things I never eat otherwise. As a child I wanted root beer every time I was sick, never drank it otherwise. When I’m pregnant I crave coffee; the only time I’ve ever drank coffee. When I’m hung over I need a greasy Hardees breakfast. Now days when I’m sick I can’t drink diet soda, it must be the regular stuff, and last night I wanted a chocolate shake and french fries. I’ve never liked ice cream and have stopped eating greasy fries. But what the sick body wants, the sick body gets. I’ve got my parents coming next week…I better be in tip top shape by then damn-it!
After a riveting conversation about sugar I was having via email with my daughter, using my beautiful, red Blackberry Curve, the topic changed momentarily.
Her: “Where are you?”
Me: “Bed watching TV.”
Her: “I thought about that after I hit send. Look at you and your technology.”
Me: “Is it possible to be in love with a phone?”
Her: “It seems that way.”
Why on earth can I not find jeans that do not stretch? They jean do nothing but encourage me to eat more. Not only that, they‘re always slipping down. I fell like I have a baggy butt all day.
I long for a pair of jeans that fit and are not stretch! Granted I’m not shopping at high end shops, just your basic mall stores…but come on.
I have a client who needs two more people for her Health and Wellness She-Treat in November. Please let me know if you are interested and I’ll send you the link for more information.
Me, I’m up between six and seven everyday and have never been a napper. But I’m usually sleeping by 11pm every evening. My sister (who is currently living with me) and my husband sleep more than anyone I know. On Saturday I was up at six, had breakfast; then at about 11 I started cutting up veggies for lunch. I’m having lunch and they are both still in bed. Hubby gets up a little after 11 and sister sleeps until after 2pm.
Both also will go back to bed within two hours and nap for a couple of more hours. I see this as a waste of a day, while my sister will think about her upcoming nap for hours in anticipation. What the?? I don’t get it??
I know everyone is different and I never say anything to them about their sleeping. Wait, I did talk to my sister because I know depression runs in the family. She’s never been happier.
So, how much sleep do you need?
