I was dog sitting a foster dog (Kyle) last week and I brought home a crate for sleeping at night because he’s still being house broken. I would have taken the puppy myself but I already have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I live in a community where you are only allowed to have 2 dogs (with a maximum weight of 35 lbs). My dog Joey weighs 70 lbs… so my excuse for him is he’s Siamese twins – not hardly his fault. So I already break the rules… But I occasionally press the boundaries even further and bring home a foster dog for some family time while looking for good homes.
My little guys, Julian and James, had way too much fun with puppy Kyle and the crate and while I wasn’t looking decided to have a look inside…
Is this the funniest thing ever or what!
Wishing you all love, fun, laughter, and a happy home : )
I just love Halloween! It’s the only time of year I can fly around on my broom and nobody looks at me funny!
A friend of mine emailed me this photo and it brought back memories from an earlier time in my life when I wasn’t nearly as responsible as I am now – LOL
I would love to see your pumpkins and invite you to post your photo’s here!
PLEASE DO THIS FOR THE ANIMALS…IT ONLY TAKES A SECOND AND ‘NO MONEY!!!!
Hi to All you Animal Lovers :)
This is pretty simple… Please tell ten Friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of Getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.
It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site And click on the purple box ‘fund food for animals’ for free. This doesn’t cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the Number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals In exchange for advertising.
Click below and Pass it along to people you know.

My Dad outwardly has a stocky build with large square hands and a handsome face. He has kind penetrating brown eyes that can see to the very core of your existence. I didn’t always think his eyes were all that kind; growing up all he had to do is look at me and I knew without him ever uttering a word, I was in deed in trouble. O.K. I got it dad, no need to look further…
Calvin is a self made man. From a humble childhood, (some would refer to it as dirt poor), he became a successful businessman out of shear will, hard work, and a passion for a trade he loves.
Over the past 12 years I have watched my father battle non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. When this all began we were told 5 years – that’s the maximum life expectancy. Chemotherapy, radiation, experimental drugs, you name it, Cal has lived through it - and not only lived through it - never uttered a word of complaint. To me, my dad is larger than life and someone I connect with on a non-verbal spiritual and soul level. His resilience has amazed me along with several doctors.
When I look into my Dads eyes now I see a brilliant spirit, with unquestioning faith, who has taught me forgiveness, gratitude, unconditional love, and grace. What more could a girl want…
I am truly BLESSED!
Mother's Day is a time of reflection and appreciation of all the wonderful females in our lives. I think how blessed I am to have a mother who has stuck by me through good times, bad times and in between times. I am in gratitude for my Grandma Reva, who after her passing 27 years ago still remains a positive influence in my life!
It has been a terrific experience watching my daughter Teryn embrace motherhood! Her little guy Julian has been a real blessing to my entire family...
My wish this weekend is for all of us to acknowledge all the commonalities we as women share and say "YAHOO" aren't we lucky to all be a part of this SISTERHOOD
